Six out of seven accused were held guilty in Kathua Rape and Murder Case by a Special Court in Pathankot. 

The eight year old nomadic girl was gangraped and then killed. 

However, Vishal, son of Mastermind Sanji Ram, has been acquitted by the court. Another accused, who is claimed to be a juvenile, is tried separately in Jammu and Kashmir High Court. 

"Persons convicted by the Pathankot Court are Sanji Ram, Anand Dutta, Pravesh Kumar, Deepak Khajuria, Surender Verma and Tilaj Raj," said Advocate Mubeen Faroqui, lawyer representing victim's family. 

The Court will announce the quantum of sentence today at 2 p.m. The rape of the eight year old had drawn attention from leaders worldwide with protests staged in various parts of the world.
